Message from the Dean

The College of Management of National Formosa University was founded in August 2004. The educational objective of the College is to train professional management talents with an international macroscopic perspective, innovative thinking, respect for work, and enjoyment of company. The development vision is to march toward a sophisticated and distinctive College of Management. Under the joint efforts of successive deans, faculty, students, and administrative colleagues, the College has developed four departments, namely, Department of Industrial Management, Department of Information Management, Department of Finance, and Department of Business Administration. At present, more than 2000 students are studying in these programs.

Faced with the wave of globalization and the huge demand for Industry 4.0, integration of the Internet of Things, and big data application services, we will continue to enhance the integration of students’ professional knowledge with the teaching and research resources in the different departments. Combined with the existing resources of the university, we will continue developing the strengths of the curriculum and seek external resources to train our students. We aim to equip our students with professional skills to integrate services in business analysis, big data storage and analysis, mobile application, cloud, and cyber-physical integration in line with the planning of industrial practice.

In the future, the College of Management will continue to move toward internationalization and intelligent management, strengthen international exchanges, and enhance the international mobility of its faculty and students. We will develop intelligent management skills in combination with the application of technology. By using Industrial 4.0 technological elements, big data, Internet of Things, cloud computing, digital manufacturing, and financial technology, among other technological advances, we will strive to promote a technology-driven innovative business mode.
